So, this is the figure that was lafter re-jiggered into the giant Battlestar Galactica figure, right? What a bizarre 'friend' to Matt Mason. He's a giant compared to the 5-6" Mason figures, and he's not poseable.
Back in the late '90s, my wife and I attended a holiday gathering at one of her co-workers' apartments. The woman's 2 year old daughter latched onto me and I spent most of my time there playing with her and her dolls. She brought them to me one by one--Barbie, Raggedy Ann...Captain Lazer (!!!). Seriously! Around 1997, this 2 year old girl was randomly playing with an original, at the time 30 year old, Captain Lazer! I pulled my wife aside and asked how much cash she had on her. I said we HAD to buy the Captain Lazer from her friend. She kept telling me no and how it would be rude to offer and terrible to take the little girl's doll away! I finally gave in but the fact that here I am still talking about it another 20 years on...Y'know?
